Refund Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2025
Overview
Resumiq is committed to your satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you may request a refund for purchases made through our platform. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all refund requests on our behalf in accordance with their refund policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
Subscription Plans (Pro Monthly & Pro Yearly)
For Pro subscription plans, the following refund terms apply:
- 7-day money-back guarantee: Refund requests submitted within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase will be honored on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@resumiq.tech with your request.
- After 7 days: Refunds are generally not provided for subscription fees already charged. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Renewal charges: If you forgot to cancel before a renewal and contact us within 3 days of the charge, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
- No partial refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Lifetime Plan
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all current Pro features.
- 7-day refund window: Refund requests submitted within 7 days of purchase and where fewer than 3 optimizations have been used will be considered. Contact us at support@resumiq.tech.
- After 7 days: Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@resumiq.tech with the subject line “Refund Request”.
- Include the email address associated with your account and your reason for the request.
- We will respond within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund through Paddle.
- Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
Paddle as Merchant of Record
Resumiq uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and is the entity that appears on your billing statement. For billing disputes or chargebacks, you may also contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/help.
Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The account was suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity was detected on the account
- The refund request is made outside of the applicable refund window without exceptional circumstances
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory refund rights (such as the EU, UK, or Australia), those rights apply and take precedence over the terms above.
