Refund Policy

Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for a purchase made through Resumiq. Your checkout and receipt identify the payment provider. Contact our support team for help requesting a refund; approved refunds are processed through the provider used for your purchase.

Pro Subscription

For Pro subscription plans, the following refund terms apply:

• 7-day money-back guarantee: Refund requests submitted within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase will be honored under this guarantee. Contact us at support@resumiq.tech with your request.
• After 7 days: Refunds are generally not provided for subscription fees already charged. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Renewal charges: If you forgot to cancel before a renewal and contact us within 3 days of the charge, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.
• No partial refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Application Pack

An Application Pack is a $20 one-time purchase with 40 resume tailoring credits, five profile imports, and 12 months of access to new cover-letter drafts and resume saves from completed payment. It does not renew automatically. Unused credits and profile imports expire on the date displayed in your account.

• 7-day refund request window: Requests made within seven days of purchase, where fewer than three optimizations from that pack have been used, will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@resumiq.tech with the purchase receipt.
• After seven days: Pack purchases are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws.
• Approved refunds: A full refund revokes that pack's unused allowances and paid access. Other valid packs or subscriptions remain available. A partial refund does not automatically change access or allowances.
• Unused allowances: We do not provide prorated refunds for allowances that expire unused. Paid results, downloads you have unlocked, and saved cover-letter drafts remain available after paid access ends.

Previously Purchased Lifetime Plans

Lifetime is no longer offered for new purchases. Previously purchased Lifetime access retains the features and allowances included at purchase, subject to its original terms and applicable refund rules.

• After 7 days: Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Email us at support@resumiq.tech with the subject line “Refund Request”.
2. Include the email address associated with your account and your reason for the request.
3. We will respond within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund through your payment provider.
4. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Your Payment Provider

Your receipt identifies the entity that processed your payment and its billing support details. If a Merchant of Record handles your purchase, its name may appear on your billing statement. You may contact that provider or Resumiq support for help with a billing issue.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

• The account was suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
• Fraudulent activity was detected on the account
• The refund request is made outside of the applicable refund window without exceptional circumstances

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory refund rights (such as the EU, UK, or Australia), those rights apply and take precedence over the terms above.
